APDA helps disabled people in the Puttalam District who are marginalised and receive no services or support.

It provides:
•    training
•    health and education sessions
•    and helps with job creation.

It does this through UK-based volunteers who are:
•    doctors
•    teachers
•    business people
•    and other professionals

This project is funded by DFID and VSO.

APDA is also planning to work in Pakistan and Bangladesh in the future.
