APDA works in the slum areas of Delhi where disabled people have little or no opportunities.

Working with its partner Concerned Action Now (CAN), it:
•    provides disabled people with training to live independently
•    helps them to create jobs for themselves
•    as well as training them to train other disabled people.

APDA is also planning to work in Pakistan and Bangladesh in the future.
