About Our Centre: |

APDA's Day Respite Centre at the Alric Avenue, Harlesden NW10 8RA serves people with disabilities from several Local Authorities surrounding the hospital. |
|
|
The Centre offers a variety of services to people of both sexes with a wide range of disabilities. |
|
|
Our Center provides help and support in an Asian setting which reflects the cultural linguistic backgrounds of our uses. |
We Provide: |

Personal assistance at the Centre to suit individual needs. | |

Freshly cooked Asian food and refreshments. | |
|
|
A variety of activities which take into account the culture, language, diet and traditions of our users which are reviewed frequently in consultation with our users. | |

Opportunities to improve existing skills, to develop new skills and promote social contacts. | |
|
|
Access to information and advice in Asian languages on a variety of subjects. | |
|
|
Help in accessing services from statutory and voluntary providers. | |
|
|
Access to Employment Training and Life skills Training e.g. Office Skills, Catering and Complementary Therapies. | |

Help our improve the quality of their lives according to their expectations. |

Enable our users to live in the community. |

Reduce the isolation which is particularly keenly felt by Asian people with disabilities and their families. |
