Dance Group
APDA formed its own dance group (over 5 years ago), involving users of the day centre. The group puts on wheel chair dance shows, Garba, Bhangra and other traditional performances, as well as taking part in Asian fashion shows. The dancers, singers and musicians that accompany them have found the experience enriching and exciting.
The group project a very positive message, not just about the potential and untapped talent and ambition of those with disabilities but also the great sense of reward and pride enjoyed by those involved.
